Lanyard Styles
Following are popular jobs where employees need to wear identification badges and often use a lanyard to carry and display their badge.
Professional Business Office
Employees of small to large businesses often have employee ids. Some are for identification only, but some cards are multifunctional and are used frequently throughout the day.
Lanyards worn by business employees need to reflect a professional style. There are lanyards made to look like a piece of jewelry and also nice flat nylon lanyards that fit the color scheme of the organization.
Educator
Educators are always on the move. Having a breakaway lanyard is of most importance as they are geared for safety. If a lanyard is pulled from a wearer’s neck, the safety feature will snap and let the lanyard loose from the wearer. Once the lanyard is retrieved, it normally can be snapped back together for continued wear.
Often schools are interested in custom lanyards which will display their school name or school logo. Although additional time is needed to receive these completed lanyards, they make great gifts and increase school spirit.
Student ids are also common today. Lanyards are used by many school districts for student badge attachments.
